A fantastic British artist with a slightly sad style of performance, who has won the hearts of female fans all over the world. Yes, that’s Tom Odell, who ends his World Tour in Portugal at the Lisbon Coliseum on October 11th.
Odell’s musical biography began in the band “Tom and the Tides.” Still, the singer quickly realized that he preferred working in an atmosphere where everything depended only on him and chose the solo path. Tom’s first mini-album, Songs from Another Love, saw the light of day in the fall of 2012, and at the same time, he was talked about as a promising musician.
The most promising artist. It’s worth noting that before him, the award went to women only, not just any women, but Adele, Jessie J, and Florence Welch. But Tom’s heart was much dearer to the Ivor Novello Awards, presented by the British Academy of Composers in recognition of his art.
The place of the concert was not chosen by chance! The Lisbon Coliseum is a multi-purpose showroom created due to a joint project of four brave entrepreneurs who wanted to build the largest indoor entertainment building in the world. And apparently, they succeeded!
In the Lisbon Coliseum, you can feel the holiday atmosphere. The place is saturated with the energy of famous people who held their concerts here.
The Coliseum building is located in Lisbon’s heart, near the Restauradores, Rossio, and Martim Moniz metro stations. The area is famous for Avenida de Liberdade, Lisbon’s main avenue. Avenida de Liberdade has a pedestrian boulevard with magnificent calсades created by the best craftsmen. On some of the patterns, you can see unique signs with which the masters marked their work. Several beautiful Art Nouveau buildings also adorn Avenida.
This Freedom Avenue leads to Eduardo 7th Park, which may also catch your eye! It is one of the city’s largest parks, offering a panoramic view. You have to see it!
This place is one of the city’s best and most luxurious districts. It is home to boutiques of famous brands, modern business centers, banks, and expensive restaurants. The area is also full of shady alleys, quiet courtyards, and picturesque places for strolls.
On Avenidas Novas, in one of the capital’s most central and scenic areas, you will find the new Citiflat Avenidas Novas apartment complex. A fantastic renovation of a late last century office building, consisting of 17 modern duplexes with one, two, and three bedrooms, ranging from 49 to 97 m2, spread over eight floors, with outdoor areas and parking.
A few steps away from Eduardo 7th Park, Duque de Saldanha Square, and the Gulbenkian Foundation Park, life in the new Aurora condominium is a clear invitation to enjoy the city, experience the culture and the whole essence of the Lisbon tradition. In perfect harmony with the city, designed in the sophisticated Portuguese style, this project consists of 36 apartments with one to four bedrooms. The complex has a concierge and parking with chargers for electric horses – like cars or even bicycles.
In this area, we should also mention the Varino 4 project. It is a renovation of 2 residential units with 27 available fractions and typologies between one and two bedrooms, ranging in size from 55 to 148 m2. Here, you can enjoy the outdoor areas that offer spectacular city views.
From here, walking in the center of Lisbon, through it’s is shady and wide avenues that beckon you to change from a quick step to a stroll (you should not deny yourself this pleasure!), you will soon come to the Lisbon Coliseum, where the venue for Tom Odell’s concert will hold a place on October 11th. And if you love this artist’s music, this is your chance!
